GORDON EDWARD REEDER
June 23, 1936 – January 5, 2021
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Gordon Reeder “Papa Gord” on January 5, 2021. Gord was predeceased by The Love of his Life and “Honey” Rhea (2012) and his Great Grandson Joshua (2017). Together Gord and Rhea built their Empire of Connie (Fred), Kim (Ken), Nancy (Steve), and David. The extension of that Empire includes his Grandchildren Lindsay (Eric), Keith (Emily), Jessica (Curtis), Danyella, Isabella and Evan as well as his Great Grandchildren Zachary, Noah, Katie and Quinn. In the early years Gord and Rhea built their life in Brantford. During the last 5 years, Gord has been fortunate to spend his time in Tillsonburg at the Maple Manor Nursing Home where he enjoyed life everyday with his new family. Our family is grateful for the Maple Manor family who were able to share in his many stories, quick wit, sense of humour and most of all his love for chocolate and sweets. Cremation has taken place with the family to host a private service at a later date. Memorial donations in Gord’s memory can be made payable via cheque to Maple Manor Palliative Care and can be done by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) whom have been entrusted with the arrangements.
