HARRY JAMES “JIM” EDWARD RYDER
JULY 20, 1948– OCTOBER 5, 2021
Suddenly and unexpectedly, on Tuesday October 5th, 2021, Harry James “Jim” Edward Ryder passed away at his home in Tillsonburg at the age of 73. Husband and best friend to Anna (nee Surmacz). Beloved father of Jeff and his wife Kim, Scott and his wife Caroline, Jamie and his wife Michelle. Grandfather of Mathew, Ashley, Andrew, Olivia and Ryan. Brother of Linda Redling and her husband Richard. Predeceased by his parents Harry Ryder and Dorothy Ryder-McClintock and brother Bill Ryder and his wife Karen. Also survived by his fur babies Mindy and Biscuit. Visitation will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 3T6 (519) 842-5221 on Friday October 8th, 2021 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00pm.
Guests are asked to register online on Jim’s tribute page using the RSVP button or by calling the funeral home. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory. A private family funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 9th, 2021. Interment will be take place at the Tillsonburg Cemetery.
