The family wishes to announce the passing of their beloved mother, Helen Jean Mary Neyens of Simcoe, formerly of Langton on Thursday December 15, 2022 at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Roger (2013). Caring and supportive mother to Marlene Waldhauser (Richard) of Burlington and Joanne Spriet (Tony) of Niagara Falls. Dear companion of Bill VanDenHeede. Sister to Paula Casier. Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Sister-in-law to Elsie Rohrer, Julien DePlancke and Marilyn Verhoeve. Predeceased by her parents Jules (1967) and Romanie (1991) Galonde, father-in-law Camiel (1966), mother-in-law Brigitta (1992) Neyens, brother-in-law Roger Casier (1986), Earl Rohrer (1981), Richard Neyens (1982), Sister-in-law Rose Marie DePlancke (2009). Family and friends will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home on Tuesday December 20th, 2022, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and then 6:00pm until 8:00pm with Parish Prayers to be held at 5:45pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday December 21, 2022 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Langton with burial to follow. Father Seejo John to officiate.
