IRENE WOOD (TUCSOK)
March 16, 1936 – October 24, 2019
Irene Wood (nee Tucsok), age 83, passed away peacefully at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 24, 2019. Irene is survived by her loving husband Marshall Wood, two sons Michael Wood (Kathy) and Mark Wood (Laurie) and the daughter she never had Allyssa. A loving grandmother to her 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Irene will be missed by her brother, Steve Tucsok (Joan). Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Elizabeth (Morvia) Tucsok, her siblings Helen, Elizabeth, Julie, Mike, George, Frank and Joe. She will also be missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Carriage Hall, 25 Brock St West, Tillsonburg, ON, N4G 2A3 on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Irene’s name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
