After a courageous battle, the family wishes to announce the passing of their treasured husband, father, son, brother and uncle, John Hamm of Tillsonburg on Tuesday January 26, 2021 at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, at the age of 51 years. Loving and supportive husband to Elizabeth (nee Hallows). Devoted father to Andrew and Travis. John will be dearly missed by his mother Elisabeth Hamm (the late Diedrich (Richard) 2013) and his siblings Isaac (Kathy) Hamm, Henry Hamm, Dick (Marianne) Hamm, Helen (Willy) Fehr, Pete (Anita) Hamm, Tina (Brad) Mantyka, and Dan (Linda) Hamm. Son-in-law to Fred and Betty Hallows. Brother-in-law to Fred (Susan) Hallows, and Julie (Joe) O’Donnell. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his niece Bridgette (1999). John was a dedicated employee of GM Cami Assembly for 20 years. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no community visitations or public funeral. A private family funeral service will be held in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. and will be live streamed through the link provided by our website. A private interment will follow at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family have created a Go Fund Me page for Andrew and Travis Hamm.
