JUDITH “JUDY” ROSE MAERTEN
MARCH 27, 1949 – APRIL 3, 2021
Peacefully, at St. Mary’s General Hospital on Saturday April 3, 2021, Judith “Judy” Rose (Kaufman) Maerten, of Stratford and formerly Tillsonburg, passed away at the age of 71 years. Proud and loving mother of Tracy Mundy and John Maerten both of Stratford. Cherished grandmother of Brooke Schlotzhauer (Dominique Koert) and great-grandmother of Luxley Lynn Koert. Dear sister of Janet Ronson of Tillsonburg, Kathy Kaufman, and Bill Kaufman. Judy is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Mervin and Marjorie (McQuiggan) Kaufman, brother Jim Kaufman and sister-in-law Theresa Kaufman. In keeping with Judy’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Private Graveside Service will be held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
