Obituary for Kenneth "Ken" Wilson Webster

KENNETH “KEN”WILSON WEBSTER
1930 - 2019
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Kenneth “Ken” Wilson Webster of Tillsonburg announce his passing at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Sunday, September 22, 2019, in his 90th year. Beloved husband and best friend of the Late Sally Ann (McQueen) Webster (2007). Proud and loving father of Susan Webster of Toronto and Robert Webster (Mary) of Simcoe. Cherished grandfather of Robert Webster (Lauren) of Toronto, Andrea Webster of Calgary, Jeffrey Webster (Rebecca) of Norwich and thrilled to be a great-grandfather to Reid and Marilyn Webster. Predeceased by his parents Stanley (1981) and Margaret (Wilson) Webster (1991) and his brother Gerald Webster (1993). Ken was a long time member of St. John’s Anglican Church and Choir. He served on Tillsonburg Town Council and Oxford County Council for many years. Ken was Warden of Oxford County from 1979-1980. He also represented Tillsonburg on the Long Point Region Conservation Authority and was a member and Past Master of the King Hiram Masonic Lodge #78 Tillsonburg. Ken loved to sing and was part of the Tillsonburg Seniors Choir. He was also an avid outdoorsman who was passionate about fishing and hunting. Friends and relatives will be received by Ken’s family at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service for Ken will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 46 Ridout Street West, Tillsonburg on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Father Osita Oluigbo officiating. Interment will follow at the Tillsonburg cemetery. Memorial donations to St John’s Anglican Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the Webster family.
