Obituary for Kerry Lee Smith
KERRY LEE SMITH
September 26, 1971 – January 27, 2020
Kerry Lee Smith of London passed away at his home on Monday, January 27, 2020 at the age of 48 years. Beloved son of Hellen and Robert Ronson of Straffordville and the late Gary Smith (1981). Dear nephew of Wendy White, Lenora Rae, Treva Hawkins all of St. Thomas. Kerry is also survived by his great-aunts Irene of Port Burwell, Betty of Northern Ontario and great-uncle Gordon of Woodstock. Kerry will also be missed by many cousins and his fur babies, Zack and Zeke. Predeceased by his grandparents Ella Mae (Scott) and Harvey Smith, Olive (Berdan) and Blake Lester, great-grandparents Violet (Rutter) and Edward Berdan, his uncle Wilfred Smith, great-aunts Lillian and Edith Berdan, great-uncle Robert Berdan and step-grandfather Max Balkwill. He was loved by all those that knew him. Kerry was very competitive in sports, particularly hockey and baseball. He was an avid fisherman and also loved playing board games. In keeping with Kerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 60 Vienna Road, Tillsonburg on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 11:00 am. Inurnment at a later date at the Aylmer Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Mental Health Association may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
