Peacefully, at Beattie Manor in Wardsville on Thursday, June 3, 2021, Leo Paul Bigras, formerly of Tillsonburg, passed away at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband and best friend of the Late Shirley (Knechtel) Bigras (2007). Proud and loving father of Paul Bigras of Woodstock, Shelly Lavacca (Jeff) of Ottawa and Connie Porter (Glenn) of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandpa of Joshua, Adam, Michael, Dustin, Bryton, Rebecca and great-grandpa of Logan, Lucas and Heidi. Dear brother of Dorothy Bigras of Quebec. Predeceased by his parents Armand and Francis (Paquette) Bigras. In keeping with Leo’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Courtland United Church Cemetery with Pastor Paul Robinson officiating. Memorial donations to Brain Cancer Canada or the Mark Preece Family House, Hamilton and may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by the Bigras family.
