Obituary for Lionel Roger Meulemeester
LIONEL ROGER MEULEMEESTER
December 14, 1950 -January 26, 2024
It is with overwhelming sorrow that we announce the passing of Lionel Roger Meulemeester at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the age of 73 years. Proud father of his two sons; Jesse of West Lorne and Eddie of London. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Fred Meulemeester (Jane) of Tillsonburg and brother-in-law of Beverley Meulemeester of Tillsonburg. Lionel is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lionel will also be missed by his many friends especially his best friend Cathy Metcalfe and good friend Terry Burke (Brenda). Predeceased by his wife Annie, brother Patrick and his parents Lucien and Simonne Meulemeester. In keeping with Lionel’s wishes, cremation has taken place with private family arrangements. Inurnment will take place at Ingersoll Rural Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by the Meulemeester family.
