Lynda Ouellette

Lynda Grace Ouellette (Labelle) passed away on Friday, July 24th, 2020 peacefully at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario with her loving husband Dale Ouellette of 24 years by her side. Lynda and her husband Dale Ouellette moved to Tillsonburg 21 years ago and raised two wonderful sons Corey Ouellette (Fiancé Nancy Funk) and Hunter Ouellette. They were her pride and joy. If she was not with them, she was bragging about them to others. Lynda was daughter to Ron and the late Joan Labelle. Daughter -in-law to Barbara and the late Herwin “Corky” Ouellette. Lynda was a sister to Wendy Lewis and Terry Labelle (Tamara Scott), sister-in-law to Carey Ouellette, Glenn Ouellette (Margaret), Jane Hudson, and Sally Ouellette. Caring aunt to Alexei Lewis, grace and Abby Labelle-Scott, Maaike VandenNeucker (Brent), Jami Stephenson (Pat), Kari Ouellette (Cameron Curtis), Katie Ouellette (kyle Kotewicz), Amber Hudson, Raymond Hudson (Olivia Fick), Travis Heath (Brittany Mielke), Tia Heath (James Ferguson). Great aunt to many others and long time member to Good, Redden, Klosler LLP family. Lynda was well known for her volunteer work with Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters with the “Get Outdoors” program. She was very passionate about hunting with her husband Dale and their two sons. She also volunteered with her son’s school and the “Meals On Wheels” program. She had the biggest heart and always gave back to the community. The most memorable part about Lynda was her laughter. She had the most infectious laugh that could turn anyone’s mood around. When she loved, she loved whole heartedly and unconditionally. She was not only a great mother and wife, but a true inspiration and friend to everyone she met. Lynda was a recipient of the Larry Wallace Memorial Volunteer Award in recognition of her contribution to youth conservation education and wise use of Ontario’s Natural Resources. Cremation has taken place and service is to be determined at a later date. Donations in Lynda’s memory can be made by cheque payable to OFAH Get Outdoors and can be sent to the Federation of Anglers and Hunters. 4601 Guthrie Drive, Peterborough, ON, K9J 6Y3 or by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home (519) 842-5221.
