Obituary for Margaret Elizabeth Bell

MARGARET BELL

Peacefully at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital with her family by her side on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, Margaret Elizabeth (Wilson) Bell passed away at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the Late James Bell (1996). Proud and loving mother of Dorothy Longridge (Andrew), Richard Bell (Cheryl) both of Mt. Elgin and mother-in-law of Randy Sanderson of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandmother of Allan (Sue), Robert (Kate), Scott (Karen), Ryan, Wade (Christina), Keith (Deb), Louise and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Charlie Wilson of Burgessville and sister-in-law of Joyce Wilson of Aylmer and Mary Wilson of Beachville. Margaret is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Richard and Mabel (Butler) Wilson, daughter Dianne Sanderson, grandson Scott Peters, sister Jean Howe, brothers, Donald, John, Art, William Wilson and several sisters-in-law and brother-in-law. Margaret was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Women’s Institute, United Church Women, Tillsonburg Seniors and the Mt. Elgin United Church. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting and puzzles. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm. Order of the Eastern Star Service will be held Friday evening at 5:30 pm under the auspices of McDonald Lodge #167. The Memorial Service for Margaret will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Lori Minler officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Ebenezer Cemetery.
