Obituary for Marguerite "Anna" Lemon (Granger)

MARGUERITE “ANNA” LEMON
OCTOBER 4, 1925 – FEBRUARY 8, 2022
Peacefully, at her home in Straffordville, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Marguerite “Anna” (Granger) Lemon, passed away at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Lyle for 78 years. Proud and loving mother of Cathy Boden (Larry) of Tillsonburg, Bryan Lemon (Brenda) of Waterloo and Robert Lemon (Kathryn) of Straffordville. Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Amanda), Lyle (Jessica), Kyle, Rachel (Jacob), Kalina (Doug), Gloria, Victoria, Christian, Deborah and great-grandchildren Lily, Dylan, Olivia, Emilia, Isla, Abby and Ezra. Dear sister-in-law of Evelyn Granger and Raymond Kennedy both of Aylmer. Anna is also survived by many nieces and nephews and good friends Dan and Carolyn Murray and Al and Liz Clark all of Straffordville. Predeceased by her parents William and Inez (Wonnacott) Granger, sisters Genevieve Graham (George), Helen Kennedy and brothers William (Gloria), Charles and Loyall Granger.
Family and friends will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. All guests are required to register for visitation on the funeral home website or by calling the Funeral Home. Should additional visitation time be required, time slots for further visiting hours will be added accordingly. All guests must wear masks and remain socially distant. Guests are asked not to attend if they are ill or under isolation.
A private funeral service will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 1:00 pm and will be livestreamed via link made available on Anna’s memorial site at www.ostrandersfuneralhome.com.
