Sadly, after a brief battle with illness, Marilyn Velma Penner (Long) of Courtland, passed away at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the age of 78 years. She was blessed to be surrounded by her 3 loving children as she was called Home to be with her Lord. Marilyn is predeceased by her loving husband John Frederick Pollard (1964). She was a strong, courageous, loving mother to John Pollard, Melanie Williams, and Danielle Pollard (Chris Moore). Very proud grandmother to Matthew Pollard, Roy Pollard, Melissa Pollard, Ashley Williams, Steven (Ana) Clunas, Kimberly Clunas, and Catherine Pollard. Great-grandmother to Aydin, Sayuri, Abigail, Jackson, J.J., Thomas, and Safirah. Beloved sister to Shirley (Al Garon), and Ruth (Late Carl Wilkens). Sister-in-law to Pat Long. Predeceased by her parents Yorkley and Velma Long, brother Clifford Long, and son-in-law Allan Williams. Marilyn was proud to be part owner of the Tillsonburg Home Hardware for a while. There will be no visitation or service at this time. We look forward to a Celebration of Marilyn’s life post-pandemic.
