Obituary for Michel Joseph "Mitch" Patenaude
It is with unimaginable sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Michel (Mitch) Joseph Patenaude of Tillsonburg on November 2, 2022 at the age of 49. He passed peacefully and knowingly loved with his family by his side.
Mitch lived for his wife and children and his beloved dog Luna. Over the years Mitch enjoyed many different hobbies, snowmobiling, restoring cars, collecting 3 wheelers, and travelling with his family. He loved food, especially pizza, and you would often find him in the backyard barbequing with a cold beer in hand. Mitch will always be lovingly remembered by his family and friends for a smile on his face, a love of life and the deepest love for his 2 children.
Mitch leaves precious memories behind with his wife Sheri of 27 years, and his children, his pride and joy, Kali and Noah. He is survived by his father in Law Gary Mussel, brother Daniel Patenaude (Jane) sister in law Lisa Aker, his nieces and nephews Carissa Schneider, Ashley Aker, Kaitlyn Patenaude, Justin Aker, Payton Hummerstone and Laikynn Patenaude, and several special aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be greatly missed by his chosen family Scott Verspeeten and Kelin O’toole , Kevin and Karen Judd, and Lisa and Harvey Gedye and several other friends he cherished. Predeceased by his mom Linda Patenaude on the same day, his dad Paul Patenaude, Mother in law Shirley Mussel, brother in law John Aker, nephew Kyle Patenaude, and his loving Grandparents.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held for family and friends to pay their respects to the Patenaude family on Thursday November 10, 2022 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Ostrander’s Funeral home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, ON 519-842—5221. A memorial service will be held on Friday November 11, 2022 at 1:00pm in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Rev. Bill Wiebe is officiating.
