Peacefully at Maple Manor Nursing Home, Tillsonburg on Saturday, November 14, 2020 Mildred Ileta Shearer passed away at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by her husband Acel Langohr (1976), and her second husband Donald Shearer. Wonderful mother to Jim (Lois) Langohr, Patricia Smith (Mike Elliott). Step-mother to Suzanne Shearer, Richard (Debbie) Shearer. Proud and loving grandmother to Jody (Chris) Howe, Jeff (Mel) Scott, Nicole Shearer, Meaghan (Doug) Cooper, Monica (Michael) Hill, Morgan (Scott) Smith. Much loved great grandmother to several great grandchildren. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Walter and Jennie Small, granddaughters Rachael and April Shearer, son-in-law Wayne Smith, sister Lucille Baldwin, and brother Don Small.
Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home Limited, 43 Bidwell Street Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, public visitation will be LIMITED to ONLY guests that sign up for a specific time to attend. Time slots will be made available on our website or by calling 519-842-5221. Guests are asked to not attend if they are ill, have been in contact with anyone that is ill or have travelled. Guests are required to wear masks and maintain social distancing rules. Guests are encouraged to only attend when their time slot begins. A private family service will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. and will be live streamed through a link provided by our website. Interment will take place at the Rhineland Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
