Obituary for Murray Edward Roswell
ROSWELL, Murray Edward
1956 – 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Murray Edward Roswell March 7th 2023 at London’s University Hospital.
He leaves behind his wife and best friend Elaine, daughters Jennifer (Greg), and Jamie, grandchildren Nathan and Isaiah, his brother Robin and sister Sarah (Rick), and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Jacqueline and Carl, sister Debbie, niece Miranda, and nephew Colin.
Murray was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a man of few words but the love for his family was unconditional and unwavering
Murray was employed by Wells Foundry for over 30 years. He was a fixture at Hustlers and Strokers pool halls, and an avid softball and hockey player.
We would like to thank the cardiac team and nurses at University Hospital, London who took such good care of Murray in his final days.
A private service will be held for immediate family. There will be a celebration of life at a later date where friends will be able to share stories and memories.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Murray’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or London Health Sciences Foundation Cardiac Program would be appreciated and may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by the Roswell family.
