FEBRUARY 9, 1962 – JULY 31, 2020
Unexpectedly on Friday, July 31, 2020, Nathan Paul Halyk of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 58 years. Loving partner and best friend to Linda Horeth. Son of Ken and Lucy (Letwin) Halyk. Caring brother to Kim (Kathy) Halyk of Texas, Anna (Ray) Chambers of Delhi, Susan Guy of Brownsville, and Judy (Wray) Willson of New Brunswick. Brother in law to Peter Millar and Michele Halyk. Predeceased by his sister Karen Millar (2019) and brother Rick Halyk (2007). Nathan will be missed by his in laws Martin and Barb Horeth, Norma Horeth, Laurie and John Houghton, and Carol Aspden. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends. Nathan loved golfing and was an avid Boston Bruins and Dallas Cowboys fan. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home Limited, 43 Bidwell Street Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 1:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, public visitation will be LIMITED to ONLY guests that sign up for a specific time to attend. Time slots will be made available on our website or by calling 519-842-5221. Guests are asked to not attend if they are ill, have been around anyone that is ill or have travelled. Guests are required to wear masks and maintain social distancing rules. Guests are encouraged to only attend when their time slot begins.
