Obituary for Nikki Maria Marilyn Matthys
NIKKI MARIA MARILYN MATTHYS
May 4, 1995 – February 13, 2024
It is with overwhelming sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Nikki Maria Marilyn Matthys at her home on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the age of 28 years. Beloved daughter of Kelly (Bailey) Matthys. Dear sister of Logan Matthys (Olivia Davies). Cherished niece of Dan and Lissa Bailey, Robyn Bailey "Gladys" and Chris and Christine Bailey. Nikki is also survived by numerous cousins and her friend the old man Harry Layman. Predeceased by her grandparents Robert and Marilyn (Milton) Bailey.
Nikki had a very strong faith and everlasting spirit. If she thought you needed some help, she would pray for you. Nikki was born in the wrong era. She loved the 50’s and everything vintage…….especially Elvis Presley. She would look forward to her “girls day out” which included trips to Giant Tiger, the Dollar Store and the french fry wagon and always enjoyed her movie (Elvis) days with Olivia. She will be truly missed by all that knew her. In keeping with Nikki’s wishes, cremation has taken place with private family arrangements. Memorial donations to St. Marys’s Roman Catholic Church may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by Nikki’s family.
