Many memories of Xmas gatherings in Streetsville - uncle kite would entertain the family with his numerous “life stories” - Noel the proud son shared his fathers skill set and was never lost for words in particular when it came to family. I attended Noel and Edith's wedding so many years ago and as a small boy was enthralled by Noels ceremonial dagger placed in his leg stocking and a frozen fish his “buddies” placed on the car heater to reveal itself several miles down the road. Rest In Peace cousin John and Debbie Leigh Bobcaygeon Ontario

I have many memories of Noel. He was my CSM in B Company (Oakville), and a fellow member of the WO's and Sgt's Mess from 1962 to 1964. He was RSM from 1967 to 1970 and he was a friend and a fellow member of the Regimental Association until the time of his death. In recent years he and I and other members of the Regimental family kept in touch by way of Facebook. I will not forget him. I also have fond memories of Edith and Kevin from more than 50 years ago. In my mind he will always rest in peace.

Noel's passing is a deep loss to the Lorne Scots Regimental Association. He was a strong supporter of the Association, staying in touch through Facebook , after his retirement from the Regiment. We will miss him. Our condolences and sympathy to the entire family.
