Peacefully at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, Percy John Wesley Long of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 81 years. Loving husband of 30 years to his wife Dale. Brother to Jim Long, Gladys Ecker, and Edna Telford (Red). Loving uncle to his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ray and Mary Long, and his sister Frances Evans. Percy enjoyed many years of driving around his many Amish friends. At Percy’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation and no service. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the Long family and may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with Percy’s arrangements.
