Ralph Henry Hodgson
Peacefully at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, March 30, 2023, Ralph Henry Hodgson of Courtland, Ontario passed away at the age of 83 years. Loving husband of 51 years to Carol (nee Diefenbaker). Father to Timothy (Elaine) Campbell, Jim Hodgson, Lisa (Dan) Muhlbock and Kimberley (Andy) Tamcsu. Proud grandfather to all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loving uncle to several nieces and nephews. Brother to Shirley Hodgson. Predeceased by his parents Archie and Florence, brother Bruce (2016) and brother Lloyd (1979). Ralph will be missed by his family and friends. He lived an adventurous life. As a long haul truck driver he managed to achieve 1,000,000 miles of safe driving. Ralph was a huge Toronto Blue Jays Fan and loved golfing with his friends. A special thank-you to the nurses of second floor south, who took great care of Dad as he took his final journey. A funeral service for Ralph will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519) 842-5221 on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 1:00 pm. A private family interment will be held at Bethel Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital Foundation, may be done directly with the Charity online or by cheque, by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
