Richard Grant David Hughes passed away peacefully at the Sakura House, Woodstock on Saturday, March 27th, 2021 at the age of 55 years. Loving husband and best friend to Cheryl Hughes (nee Martin). Caring father to Karlea-Olivia Hughes (Johnny Giesbrecht) of Cultus, Janice Hughes of Tillsonburg and Micheal Hughes of Courtland. Grandfather to Mickyla Giesbrecht and Colt Hughes. He will be missed by his best friend and fur baby Bella. Richard was a proud Scout Leader at the Alliance Church. He worked at Fleetwood Metal in Otterville as a millwright for over 35 years. In keeping with Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place with no formal visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Richard’s name to the VON Sakura House, Woodstock and may be made by contact Ostrander’s Funeral Home who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
