ROBERT “BOB” GEORGE HAYWARD
April 24, 1933 – June 28, 2022
It is with heavy hearts, after a difficult battle with dementia, that the family announces the passing of Robert “Bob” George Hayward, formerly of Brownsville, on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, with his family by his side. Devoted husband of 67 years to the Late Dona Mae (Nowell) Hayward (2019). Loving father of Robin Hearse (Paul) and Robert Hayward (Catherine). Proud grandpa of Meaghan Hearse (Jason), Michael Hearse (Jaime), Kayleigh, Rochelle, and Shelby Hayward. Great grandpa to Tayler, Brooklyn, Hunter, Max, and Violet. Bob is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Wray and Lois (Rodgers) Hayward, his sisters Marie Hicks, Greta Sherman and brothers Norm and Jack Hayward. A Private Family Funeral Service will be held at OSTRANDER’S FUNERAL HOME LIMITED, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221). Interment will take place at the Delmer Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the Hayward family.
