Obituary for Robert "Duane" Townsend
ROBERT “DUANE” TOWNSEND
July 26, 1952 – November 19, 2021
We are heartbroken to announce the peaceful passing of Robert Duane Townsend, after a brief illness, on Friday November 19, 2021 in his 70th year. He was surrounded by his loving family. Devoted and loving husband of 43 years to his wife Martine. Supportive and caring father to Sacha and husband Tony; Justine and partner Shaun; Gabrielle and partner Ernesto. Proud grandfather to Madeleine, Hanna and Cristian. Predeceased by his parents Robert (1997) and Kathelene (2014). Duane treasured spending time with his girls and grandkids. He was a lifelong learner, interested in nature, photography, music and enjoying his second home in Mexico. He will be greatly missed.
In keeping with Duane’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation for Duane will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, on Saturday November 27, 2021 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. There will be a private family memorial held at a later date.

All guests will be required to wear masks and provide proof of vaccination.
