ROBERT “BOB” HOWARD WASS
APRIL 27, 1947 – FEBRUARY 12, 2021
Peacefully at his home on Friday, February 12, 2021, Robert “Bob” Howard Wass passed away in his 74th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Patricia Wass for 50 years. Proud and loving father of the late Barry Wass, Brian Wass and his wife Gaby, and Gene Hayward. Cherished grandpa of Mitchell Wass, Amanda Wass and Dillan Wass. Great grandpa to Naomi Gurney. Dear brother of Margaret (Richard) Holland, Barb (Charles) Freeman, Wendy (Bryce) Reynolds, John Wass, and Jamie (Sandy) Wass. Bob will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Doris (nee Cook) Wass and his brothers Mike Wass and Jeff Wass. Bob enjoyed spending time boating and fishing with his family, and he was also an avid golfer. In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonbug (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by the Wass family.
