Obituary for Robin Kathleen Alward (Becker)
ROBIN KATHLEEN ALWARD
January 10, 1956 – July 8, 2023
It is with deep sadness, the family announces the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Robin Kathleen Alward of Tillsonburg on Saturday July 8, 2023 at the age of 67 years.
She will be missed by her caring and loving husband Darryl and her 5 children; Erica Tipping (Kevin), Paul Helmer, Robert Helmer (Trisha), Adam Alward (Kristen) and Rachel Alward. Robin was a wonderful grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Loving sister to Dave Becker and the late Bill Becker (Karen). She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Robin is now reunited with her father John Becker and her mother Lorna Adair (nee Ferris) and great aunt Margaret Barber.
She was proud to be a PSW for 14 years going back to school in her mid-40’s. Robin loved to bake and was willing to feed an army. She proudly showed her love through her food.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of life will be held at the home of Kevin and Erica at 461 King St. West, Ingersoll On. Saturday July 22 at 1:00 - 3:00 pm. If desired, memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association and may be done online directly with those charities or via cheque if donating via the Funeral Home.
