February 14, 1954 – January 12, 2023
After a long and agonizing battle, we have lost our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Ronald Wayne Jurchuk of Tillsonburg, formerly of Edmonton, Alberta at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday January 12, 2023 at the age of 68 years. Loving husband, best friend and partner for more than 50 years to Ute (nee Neumann). Devoted and proud father to Carole Miller (Jason), Allison Watson (Daniel) and the Late Robert “Robbie” Jurchuk (2012). Dedicated, affectionate and generous grandfather to Allister, Mckenzie and Caleb. Brother to Louise Schaefer and Ivan Jurchuk. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Eleanor, brothers Roy and Billy, mother-in-law Helga Neumann. Ron dedicated his life to his family. He had a respectable career working as an Electrical Engineer in the oil sands of Northern Alberta. He had a passion for financial planning, investing and educating anyone wanting to learn. He was always there when you needed him. His sense of humour and his unwavering lectures and advice, and his “Simpsons” quotes. He had a lot of wisdom to share and will be greatly missed. Cremation will take place. A Memorial service will be held for Ron on Friday January 20, 2023, at 11:00am in the Chapel at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 3T6 (519) 842-5221.
