After a lengthy battle with illness, the family wishes to announce the passing of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, Ronald “Ron” Steven Vinnai, of Vienna at the age of 67 years at University Hospital in London on Thursday, February 27, 2020. Loving, caring husband of 47 years to Ramona (Thompson). Devoted father to Michelle Babcock, Steven Vinnai (Tracy Pirri) and Shaun Vinnai (Stephanie Mathews). Proud, motivated grandfather to Mykayla, Kaylee, Bryce, Emma, Jonathan, Dalton, Owen, Emmitt, Carter and Hunter. Great-grandfather to Tatiana. Brother to Sandra (Hugh) Anderson and Jesse (Loretta) Vinnai. Predeceased by his parents Steven and Margaret and brother Richard. Ron was an avid outdoorsman; he loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Hungarian Hall in Delhi, East Elgin Sportsman Association of Aylmer, member of Unifor 1520 and a Boy Scout Leader for many years. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service for Ron will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Paul Robinson officiating. Cremation will follow. Memorial donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the Vinnai family.
