Roza (Rose) Pihokker
March 17, 1943 – January 18, 2023
Peacefully at Woodingford Lodge, Ingersoll Roza (Rose) Pihokker, formerly of Tillsonburg passed away on Thursday January 18, 2024 in her 81st year.
Predeceased by her loving husband, Frank (1981).
Loving mother to Elizabeth (Jeff) Carlson, Frank (Maggie) Pihokker, Laurie (Maros) Luzak and Robert (Allison) Pihokker. Proud grandmother to Jaxx, Keegan, Chantel, Carmen, Evelyn, Connor, Katelyn, Erin, and Sophia. Great grandmother to Isla. Sister to John (Rose) Feher.
Predeceased by her parents, Janos and Franciska (nee Burany) Feher, sister Maria Putozcki.
Rose was a hard-working farmer, who nourished the land much like her family with love and care. A proud tradition of farming which has been passed to the next generation of family. Something Rose was very proud of.
Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Tuesday January 23, 2024 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. The Funeral Liturgy to be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home on Wednesday January 24, 2024 at 10:30 am. Father Seejo John to officiate. Interment will be held at St. Ladislaus Roman Catholic Cemetery, Courtland. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the Pihokker family, either directly to the charity or (payable by cheque) by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home.
