We remember all the beautiful baby outfits that Sandra made and gave to our new babies at F.B.C. and around the world. She was always so friendly and ready to engage you in a conversation. She was very fond of Alpha and attended faithfully. And it is really a tribute to her that she delivered Meals on Wheels for almost 40 years. So happy that she got to celebrate this milestone.

I was Sandy's partner with Meals on Wheels for many years and drove her around on her last day a few years ago, which also celebrated almost 40 years of providing this service to her/our community. She was at that time the longest-running Multi-Service Centre's volunteer and a part of that family also. My daughter and I had the pleasure of escorting her to Aylmer to receive her 35 year anniversary of volunteering for the Multi-Service Centre and we took her to dinner and we all laughed and enjoyed ourselves. My daughter later told me how much she reminded her of her grandma. I will never forget our years of driving around town, joking and laughing; sharing our concerns about different Tillsonburg folks and always enjoying her history lessons of different places and landmarks. Also, I enjoyed seeing her latest handmade creations for others. When she told me she was no longer able to knit, I gave her some colouring books because, above all else, she was beautiful and loved the beauty around her. With Sandy around, you just felt like you were indeed a member of a very important and cherished community. She will be missed and already is. Our community mourns her passing and our volunteer community is respectfully in awe by her life lessons and passing.
