It is with sadness that the family wishes to announce the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Shirley Beatrice Roberts of Tillsonburg, at the age of 89 years. She passed peacefully at VON Sakura House, Woodstock on Saturday March 7th, 2020. Much loved mother to her son Ken Roberts, his wife Laura, and daughter Dianne Desplenter and her husband Ron. Dear grandmother to Valerie Lockstein, her husband David, Darek Roberts and Nathan Roberts. Great grandmother to Asa and Nathan Lockstein. Dear sister to Gordon Livingston and his wife Alma Mae. Sister-in-law to Shirley Livingston. Shirley was aunt to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Louis and Eva Livingston, brothers’ Harry (1994) and Ron (2014). The family invites friends and relatives for visitation to be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Saturday, March 14 2020 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Shirley will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Saturday March 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. following the visitation. Interment will be at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the VON Sakura House, Woodstock would be appreciated by the Roberts family.
