1930 - 2020
It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Thérèse “Terry” Helene (Godreau) Moore announces her passing at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the Late Stanley Moore (2006). Proud and loving mother of Terry Moore (Betty) of Cambridge, the Late JoAnn Wilkie (2011) and Helen Moore-Parkhouse (Bruce) of Calgary. Cherished grandmother of Craig Moore (Kim) of Cambridge, Kelly Moore (Kathleen) of Cambridge, Jennifer Festeryga (James) of Ottawa, Kay Arghittu of St. Catharines, Emily Parkhouse of Calgary and great-grandchildren Daniel, Hannah and Alex Moore. Dear sister of Stella Thibodeau and Jacques Godreau both of Quebec. Sister-in-law of Jackie Godreau of Hamilton. Terry is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Hormidas and Laura (Gaudreau) Godreau, brother Leo Godreau, sister Rae Shillinglaw. Terry was an avid golfer, and also loved playing Bridge with her friends. Terry was employed with the Royal Bank for 35 years and was a proud member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Tillsonburg. In keeping with Terry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, service will be private and is limited to the number of attendees as required to maintain physical distancing.
