Surrounded by her family at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, Wanda “Irene” (Walker) Rutherford, of Tillsonburg, passed away in her 100th year. Proud and loving mother of Ruth Ann Enwright (Ken), Dawn LaMantia (Tony) both of Strathroy and Grant Rutherford (Shirley) of Bothwell. Cherished grandmother of Craig (Lisa) Enwright, Lisa (Mark) McIntosh, Sheri (Mike) Lalich, Jason (Katie) Rutherford, David (Jill) Rutherford and many great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Barb Smith and Bernice Jensen. Irene is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Barbara Joan Rutherford, grandson Anthony Todd LaMantia, 3 sisters Doris Walker, Helen Freed, Pauline Ross and the father of her children, John Rutherford. In keeping with Irene’s wishes, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the Straffordville Cemetery.
