Obituary for Warren Jeffrey Harness

WARREN JEFFREY HARNESS
June 9, 1963 – October 1, 2022

Warren passed away after a brief illness, with his Family by his side. Loving son of Hazel Harness. Dear brother of Brad Harness (Hong), Trevor Harness and Deborah Harness. Predeceased by his brother Russell Harness (1975), his sister Lisa Harness-MacPhail (2005) and his father Fred Harness (2012). Special uncle to Russell and Alina, Ryan and Megan, Caitlin, and Connor. Beloved nephew to Audrey Longpré and Doreen Jordan. Remembered by cousins and extended family in England. Warren was an amazing friend to so many.
As a young teenager, Warren enjoyed his time as a sea-cadet and was most proud of one summer camp at CFB Cornwallis (Nova Scotia) where he was made “Commander for the Day” at just 13 years old! In later years Warren became a dedicated Toronto Blue Jays fan.
But his real passion was music. A talented piano player, singer and song writer who started his music career while in high school with his band “Artisan”, winning a “Song of the Week” contest on a local radio station and performing in school musicals. His talent as an entertainer led him to an amazing 35 – year career as “Jeff Warren-The Piano Man”, performing on various cruise ships and travelling the world. Warren loved exploring the many countries he visited, meeting the people and embracing many cultures.
Although he left us too soon, his Family is thankful that Warren fulfilled his dream and life-long passion of a successful career in the music business. Warren will be dearly missed by all who shared in his life journey.
