Obituary for Wayne Hussey

Robert “Wayne” Hussey passed away in the comfort of his home with his wife and daughters by his side on Wednesday March 17, in his 57th year.

He leaves behind his wife and best friend, Patricia (nee Hotte), of 40 years. Dear Father of Jessica (Cameron), Rebecca and Victoria (Dave). Proud Papa of Coven, Ryan, Jaxon, Emma, Spencer, Zoe and Hanna. He will be fondly remembered by his parents, Bob & Freda and his siblings Andy (Lynnette), Will (Joyce), Corey (Dione) and members of the Hussey and Hotte families.
With comfort in the familiar, Wayne continued to reside in the community he grew up in. A loyal employee of Tillsonburg Glass and Mirror for 17 years until he fulfilled his dream of business ownership as the proud co-owner of Hussey’s Car Care Centre & JRV Fuels for a period of 10 years.
A passion for genealogy and family history, Wayne spent time researching and building his family tree and learning about his ancestral roots. ‘Wayne’s World’ was his peaceful oasis where the couple enjoyed the connection they had with the community at Shady Pines Campground.
In keeping with Wayne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will occur at a date not yet determined.
The family would like to thank the following for their exceptional care and comfort over the course of Wayne’s journey with cancer:
Palliative Care Outreach Team (Dr. Sondhi, Pauline, Dr. Collins and Dr. Fryer)
CarePartners (Suzanne and Tina M)
LHIN (Erin, Charlene and Jo)
LRCP (Dr. Powers, Dr. Fernandes, Rosemary and Dr. Nguyen)
LifeLabs (Susie)
Dr. Lamb and Staff

Patricia would like to extend her appreciation and thanks to her girls, Cameron, Corey, Lynn and Marcel.
