Surrounded by his family at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 6, 2022, Wayne Ross Sanderson, of Delmer, passed away in his 81st year. Loving husband of 29 years to Betty. Proud and loving father to Kevin (Nicole) of Brownsville, Karen (Norm) Lama of Vienna, Kim (the late Mark) Sanders and Tim (Colleen) DeRouck of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandfather to Keirsten (Henry), Madison and Avah Sanderson, Morgan Lama, Aaron (Alexa), Tyson (Kelsey), Taylor (AJ), Caitlin (Brandon) and Evan (Kaitlyn). Great grandfather to Owen, Blake, Jaxon, Kayson and Jaxen. Brother-in-law to Beverley (the late Nick) Ebner. Wayne is survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by Jodi, Giovanni, Massimo and Eleena. Predeceased by his parents Ross and Hazel, brother Floyd, sisters Doris Ravin, Judith Ann Sanderson and Betty Jean Sanderson. Wayne was a dedicated employee of Livingston Industries. He enjoyed spending time at the trailer with Betty, spending time with his Grandchildren and visiting with friends over coffee or a meal.

At Wayne’s request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Wayne will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the Dereham Centre Hall, 312901 Dereham Line, Dereham Centre. Donations in Wayne’s memory can be made to the Rotary Club of Tillsonburg, LHSC- Victoria (Children’s) Hospital or the Courtland United Church would be appreciated by the Sanderson family by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
