William “Bill” Douglas Moyer
August 23, 1936 – December 5, 2019
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 5, 2019, William “Bill” Douglas Moyer, of Vienna passed away at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 56 years to Cecile. Proud and loving father of Brenda Lampert (Joe), Doug Moyer (Treva) and Shelley Levesque (Jake). Bill was survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was also survived by his brother Ernest Moyer and sister Barbara Blundell. Predeceased by his parents Edgar (1982) and Doris (1978) Moyer, and brothers Thomas Moyer (2008) and Jim Moyer (2008), sisters Louise Edwards (2019), Dorothy Wright (2018), sisters-in-law Mary Moyer (2017), Pauline Moyer (1998) and brothers-in-law Ted Blundell (1986), Red Edwards (2018). In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association or Heart and Stoke Foundation may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
