WILLIAM EDWARD BRINDLEY
April 27, 1952 – September 25, 2020
After a long and courageous battle with illness, William Edward Brindley passed away at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the age of 68 years. Partner of 25 years to Patricia Melnyk. Proud and loving father of William Brindley Jr. (Jen Cadman) of Tillsonburg , Trevor Herron (Ashley) of Thamesford, Patti Cameron of Saskatchewan and Mike Melnyk of Calgary. Cherished grandfather of Brady, Bailey, Piper, Harper Herron, Brittany Brindley , Ryan Marques, Courtney, Scott, Coton and Brandan Cameron. Dear brother of Marion Schwitzer (Donald Dodson), Robert Brindley (Diane), Margaret Horvath (James), Doris Brindley, Gordon Brindley (Monica), Richard Brindley, Fran Brindley and brother-in-law of Arnold Robbins. William is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Everett and Marie Brindley and his sisters Audrey Robbins and Rosie Brindley. In keeping with William’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by the Brindley family.
