WILLIAM “BILL” HARTLEY McDONALD
April 21, 1937 – September 4, 2022
Suddenly, at his home in Tillsonburg on Sunday, September 4, 2022, William “Bill” Hartley McDonald passed away in his 86th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Marion (Howick) McDonald for 64 years. Proud and loving father of Brad McDonald of London, Maureen McDonald (Ray Vinet) of Mossley and Jenny Kelly (Rick) of London. Cherished grandpa of Jordan, Deidre and Nathan. Dear brother of Marie Watt of Burgessville, Fred McDonald (Pat) of Embro and brother-in-law of Karst Roos of Woodstock. Bill is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Hartley and Elda (Walton) McDonald and his sisters Jessie McDonald, Kathy Karn and Georgia Roos. Bill was a dedicated employee of A & P Grocers for over 45 years. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Bill will follow at 3:00 pm.
