John Michael Seimen (1960 – 2016)
After a courageous battle with illness, surrounded by his family at the Toronto General Hospital on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, John Michael Seimen of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 55 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Cathy (Schweitzer) Seimen. Loving and proud father of Johanna Seimen and her fiancé Andy Wiebe of Aylmer. Cherished son of John Seimen Sr. of Aylmer. Dear brother of Anna Marie Wolf of St. Thomas and Richard Seimen (Lorraine) of Ancaster. John is also survived by his mother-in-law Elizabeth Schweitzer of Delhi, sister-in-law Mary Heimbuch (Henry) of Simcoe, brother-in-law John Schweitzer (Robert) of Montreal, niece Courtney Wolf of St. Thomas and nephew Jared Wolf (Robyn) of Petrolia. Predeceased by his mother Mary Seimen, father-in-law John Schweitzer and brother-in-law George Wolf. John was a loving, kind and wonderful husband and father. He was a good friend to many. Friends and relatives are invited to share memories of John at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Prayers will commence on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for John will be held in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Goldsworthy officiating. Interment to follow in the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
