Stuart Franklin Wilson 1945-2016
Peacefully, with his family by his side following a lengthy illness, on Friday July 1, 2016 at Sakura House, Woodstock at the age of 71 years.
Beloved husband of Sharon (Borthwick) Wilson (Stuart’s Rock) and 47 years of blissful marriage. Loving and devoted father of Carolyn Knights (Terry), Marian Chapman (Greg), Sandra Vandenameele (Ron), and Leanne Clarke (Travis). Cherished Grandpa to Derek, Emily, Rachel, Danyka, Evee, Donnie, Lelin, Delilah and Piper and a Great Grandson Nolan.Stuart is also survived by his sisters Edna Janzen and Helen Geady as well as his brother Leonard Wilson. Stuart was employed at Jackson Manufacturing now known as R.I.P.C.O. for 35 years as well as tending bar at the Curling Club.
Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service for Stuart will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will be held in Tillsonburg Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Stuart’s memory to Sakura House would be appreciated by the Wilson family.
