On Thursday October 19, 2017 Ronald Edwin Buck of Tillsonburg, formerly of Norwich, in his 76th year, went home to be his Lord and Saviour, with his wife Marlene and his 3 children and best friends by his side at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.
Ron is survived by his wife of 49 years Marlene Buck (nee Dice), his children Shellie Wavell (Dave), Shawn Buck, Shannon Buck, and his daughter-in-law Kim Buck.
He is also survived by his grandchildren Josh Buck, Alex, Andrea, Ryan, and Rachel Wavell, Zackary and Cameron Edwards, Alexis and Cassidy Haight, Kaylee and Dean Kalantzis, Alana, Jessica and Kira Buck and one great granddaughter Gabriella Wavell. He is also survived by his brothers Rick (Wendy) and Barry as well as several nieces and nephews.
Ron is predeceased by his Father Earl Buck, his mother Jean Buck, his Sister and Brother-in-law Brenda and Howard Payne, his Mother-in-law Eileen Dice, Father-in- law Joseph Dice and his Brother-in-law Eddie Dice.
The Buck family would like to thank Ron’s dearest friends, Lloyd and Eleanor Denison, Shirley McCarty, Eunice and Gil Rauw, the Family at First Baptist Church, Tillsonburg along with the PSW’s and Nursing staff, CCAC, and the staff at Tillsonburg Hospital.
The visitation for Ron will take place at Ostrander Funeral Home Limited, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg, ON, N4G 3T6, (519) 842-5221 on Sunday October 22, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral service for Ron will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in the Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steven Amorin of First Baptist Church will be officiating. Interment will be held in the Norwich Cemetery following. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Youth for Christ, Tillsonburg, Youth for Christ, Norwich, or First Baptist Church, Tillsonburg would be greatly appreciated by Ron’s family.
