Peacefully, at the Woodstock Hospital on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, George "Ted" Stevens, of Norwich made his journey to the big truck stop in the sky. Beloved husband and best friend of Anna. Proud and caring father of Wanda Stevens of Southampton, Linda Donkers (Peter) of Norwich, Robert Stevens (Barb) of Calgary, Lorrie Stevens of Guelph, Janice Balsillie (Dale) of Cambridge, Treena Williams (Gary) of Burlington, Rudy Fiselier (Megan) of Edmonton and Ferdi Postel (Melanie) of Norwich. Cherished grandfather of 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Christena Stevens of Nova Scotia and Stuart Stevens (Lisa) of Chicago. Ted is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Lawson and Lillian (Wile) Stevens, 5 sisters and 2 brothers. In keeping with Ted's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Cancer Research Society may be made by contacting Ostrander's Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
