Passed away peacefully at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, Mary Theresa Goncz (Sebok) of Tillsonburg. Beloved wife for 61 years to Francis (Frank) deceased. Loving mother of Robert (deceased) and Carol Goncz of Meaford, William (deceased) and Lucrèse Goncz of Paris, Stephen and Irene Goncz of Tillsonburg, Frank Jr. and Wendy Goncz of London, Maryanne and Brian Leach of Norwich, Christine Goncz of Mississauga, Joe and Julie Goncz of Woodstock. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Survived by loving sister Isabelle Iezzi (Brantford) and John (deceased). Predeceased by her father Joseph Sebok Sr. and mother Mary (Horvath), brother Pte. Joseph and Bette (deceased), sister Anne (Romasz) and Mike (deceased) and daughter-in-law Mary Kathryn Goncz (deceased). Mom will be missed by family and friends. Mary Theresa was a proud member of the C.W.L. for 50 years and also a member of the Tillsonburg Senior Centre, St. Mary’s Resurrection Choir and volunteered for VON and the Rotary Club. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Thursday, November 26, 2015 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm– 9:00 pm. C.W.L. Prayers will be said at 3:30 pm and Parish Prayers at 6:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass for Mary will be held at St. George’s Greek Catholic Church, Courtland on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 10:00 am with Rev. Father Tom Ferrera officiating. Interment to follow at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in lieu of flowers would be appreciated by the family.
