Many Hours Spent...

I am not a very good story teller, but I wanted to share my most vivid memory of Jenna. It seemed like every weekend, we would ride our bikes down what seemed like the LONGEST road for a couple kids, to meet each other to help pass the time as bored "country kids". For some reason, we always returned to Jenna house, only to hide away the whole day in the loft above the garage/barn. We must have spent HOURS in there, getting into almost everything. I can't tell you how many cans of paint Jenna and I would empty while painting our "masterpieces" (which were actually only scrap pieces of wood we found up there, with paint splattered on them). I'm not sure how I managed to bring them all home on my bike everyday, or why I still have some of them, but during these hours spent being artists, I really got to know what a wonderful spirit Jenna had, and even though we drifted apart as adults, I know that she helped to make me who I am today. Jenna was not afraid to do anything. I truly feel that the world has lost a very bright star, but I know that I, as well as all that knew her, are better people because of her. So sorry for your loss, and Mr. & Mrs. Stewart, I am sorry if we made a mess. Thinking of you always....
