Peacefully, at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Monday, August 18, 2008 after a lengthy illness Jan VanDyck of Tillsonburg age 76 years. Beloved husband of 52 years to his loving wife Maria VanDyck (nee: Tak). Dear father of Peter VanDyck of London. Loving grandfather of Joshua and Caleb VanDyck. Dear brother of Arie (Adriana) Konijnendijk of Holland. Jan is also survived by his brother-in-law Johannes DeViet of London. Predeceased by his sister-in-law Hendrika Antonia of London. The family will receive friends, neighbours, and family at Tillsonburg Christian Reform Church on Thursday, August 21, 2008 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. A Memorial Service for Jan will be celebrated in the church at 7:30 p.m. Pastor George Rowaan officiating. Cremation has taken place. Private family interment at a later date. Memorial donations (payable by cheque) may be made to Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.
