John Murray Lambert
September 10, 1927 – December 13, 2019

John Murray Lambert was born on September 10, 1927 and passed away on December 13, 2019 in his 93rd year. John was a farmer, school bus driver and volunteer firefighter in the former township of Houghton, Norfolk County. In 2002, John moved to Tillsonburg where he spent an enjoyable retirement woodworking, gardening and driving his Lincoln. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Frances, daughter Dianna, sister Beatrice Plato and brother-in-law Pearce Plato as well as many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his mother Alice Lambert (2000) and sisters Jean Magee (1999), Irene Magee (2015) and Lillian Simeays (2017). In keeping with John’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the CNIB, Long Point Region Memorial Tree Fund or a charity of your choice may be made by contacting OSTRANDER’S FUNERAL HOME LIMITED, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.

The family would like to thank Doctor Lamb and the Nurses and Staff of Maple Manor Nursing Home for their care and kindness.
