from Grant & Maryanne Rockx Erickson

Five years ago, since my Uncle Brent and I texted every day, he knew that I had met a nice guy but was a little nervous about the first date as he is a mountain climber and I am not of that calibre! It would take many hours to hike to the mountain summit and then drive back so if it didn’t work out, it would be a long day! He offered to text me part way through the day to see how it was going. Grant and I were very high up in the mountains at that point. I texted back that everything had been perfect from the first minute! Grant was impressed that my uncle cared enough to check in with me. We loved having the live guitar music at our wedding luncheon. Grant enjoyed talking over sound systems & types of speakers etc with Uncle Brent. Grant has been very glad that my Uncle Brent and Aunt Anita keep in touch so well with me and he has loved having them visit our home and he enjoyed being in Tillsonburg at their home. Grant sends his prayers to Aunt Anita and family.
