Sue's Wedding

Last year my neighbour Carolyn called me to say that Sue White was getting married and since we had worked together Carolyn, Sue and I she wondered if I could help out and step in and drive some of the guests to the wedding and reception.  Well the only answer was yes since Sue was also helping to look after my Aunt Audry at the time.  So on the day of the wedding I met 4 amazing women from the Tillsonburg Retirement Centre and we drove to Deer Creek for the outdoor wedding then back to Langton for a reception on a farm.  This is when I met Betty and I met an amazing woman.  She was all smiles all day and she filled me in on some of the area as we drove. I think the most endering thing about Betty that day was the number of young adults who came up to her and said how she had either taught them in school or day care and Betty knew them all by name and had a visit with every one of them.  I am a terrible tease and Betty went along with all the nonsence that day too.  I kept saying that she didn't have to flirt men just loved her smile.  I met an amazing woman that day and I will always remember her graciousness, kindness, sense of humour and her great love of life.  She will be missed greatly and I send my heartfelt condolences to her family.  Carol McDonald
